What a check confirms

Every result answers three questions and shows where each answer comes from.

Who issued it
The credential is matched to the institution that issued it, and to that institution’s standing in the public issuer registry.
That the file is unchanged
A PDF’s SHA-256 fingerprint has to match the one recorded when it was issued. Changing a single character breaks the match.
Whether it still stands
Issuance and any revocation are recorded on the Hedera network with a timestamp, so the result shows the current status and its history.
